Superlatives are useless pretty much at this point but boy are we looking good and planning to come home strong.
For those who are new to Kickstarter let me tell you it ain't over till it is over.
We are in a great position to finish strongly and as part of that we still have a couple of stretch goals that we are not quite ready to announce yet.
“But Mark, you said you had this all planned out? What is taking so long?”
Behind the scenes everything is running as per plan. However I am concious, that as those who have backed kickstarters before will know, sometimes production delays get in the way of making a good campaign great.
I will not announce stretch goals till I have gaurantees set in place that do not put our deadlines at risk.
In the mean time Housekeeping.
The votes are in and the Zac Howard Kickstarter Exclusive Hell’na print will remain uncoloured.
I mean look at this thing!!!!!

Lastly a wee bit of process for you non comic folk of how we decided upon the cover
BREAK IT DOWN
Another look at the process we go through to come up with cover art.
Step 1. Mark gives the artist P.R. Dedelis a list of impossible things to draw.
Step 2. P.R. comes back a with a realistic sketch/layout, and let's be honest, much better idea
Step 3. The sketch is approved and fleshed out in pencil. More changes are suggested and P.R points out again that I’m a madman.
Step 4. Inks are laid down and look like the best thing since sliced bread
Step 5. Colourist Liezl Buenaventura comes in and works her magic
Step 6. Mark tries not to screw the whole thing up and lays down the title header corner box and credits
Step 7. Mark changes his mind completely and commissions a redesign of the title design
And that is how Issue 1's cover was made

Just wanted to make a shout out to a few folk who are excelling at their current kickstarters and share some projects that a few a few folk who are new to kickstarter may be interested in
Fisrt up is Recovery Incorporated #1 by my good mate Michael Penick its fully funded but get onto it now as its in its last 24hours!
Mia Raven: swarthy, strong-willed woman who cares less about the law than she does recovering stolen items. Mia Raven: gun-toting feminist icon with a troubled past, bad attitude and tattered psyche. Mia Raven: CEO and founder of Recovery Incorporated, a company that will help you get your (valuable) stolen item back when the police can't. Or won't. For a hefty price, of course.
Recovery Incorporated is a 24 page, over-sized 9x12 inch European formatted comic, part 1 in a 4 issue mini-series.
Next up is WORD SMITH by THIS LAND artist PR Dedelius and Stephen Kok.
Word Smith - Fear and Honour is a steampunk fantasy adventure where words come to life. A skilled artisan can craft words to evoke feelings and emotions from its recipients. Although not all words mean the same thing to everyone! Victoria and her friends find themselves facing off a mysterious stranger! Through this volume, Victoria will learn the true meaning of honour. There's adventure, excitement and of course, lots of words.
Both these campaigns are well funded and worth a look.
Easily some of the best on Kickstarter right now.

It’s probably getting annoying by now but I have to say I am not getting sick of saying it.
6 Days 23 hours and 10 minutes and funded.
Now, these are not Kickstarter records but for me and the team, it's incredible that 127 folks around the world have come forward and backed our book.
It is simply outstanding.
If you haven't received a thank you video message don’t worry I am almost there.
117 down and hopefully plenty more to go.

It’s 2:30 AM wednesday morning UK time.
I filmed a video at about 10:30pm hoping to hit the hay after I uploaded and then this happened......
Not bad for a first timer!
So what does this mean?This means we get listed alongside books like Power Rangers which has almost $700,000 backing it!
Lets be very realistic
We will not be making $700,000 !
I mean. I would love to but...
This means a few more eyeballs on us which is great.
Once we exceed our target all extra funds go straight into creative endevours.
You do not go into comics with the idea to make money.
But if it can be self sufficient then thats fantastic!
